Both Sponsler turbine meters and Turbines, Inc. turbine flow meters offer reliable solutions for liquid, gas, and cryogenic flow measurement, supporting similar line sizes and flow rates. The original Sponsler is no longer operational, and since shuttering their doors, many former Sponsler employees have joined Turbines, Inc. bringing their engineering experience to offer a trusted flow meter. Turbines, Inc. is one of the only turbine meter manufacturers in the USA to offer a cryogenic flow measurement product. Ordering replacement OEM Sponsler parts is near impossible, which is why Turbines, Inc. offers direct replacement kits for many Sponsler meters.

Materials Of Construction
Both Sponsler flow meters and Turbines, Inc. use the same materials of construction: 316 Stainless steel, 17-4 PH and Nickel rotors, and Carbide and Ceramic bearings.
Accuracy
Both Sponsler turbine meters and Turbines, Inc. have high accuracy of +/- 0.5% and a premium accuracy available of +/- 0.25% of their flow range. The both also offer a repeatability of +/- 0.1%.
Temperature Range
Both Sponsler and Turbines, Inc. meters have similar flow ranges. Sponsler Precision meters range from -430ºF to +430ºF while Turbines, Inc offers -450ºF to +850ºF with a special coil.
Replacement Parts
Turbines, Inc, retrofit kits work as direct replacement kits for Sponsler turbine flow meters. They can handle identical flow ranges per line size as that of the Sponsler counterpart.

Turbines, Inc. does not sell Sponsler meters. We offer a comparable meter that covers near identical flow rates and materials of construction. If you specifically require Sponsler branded meters you can possibly find refurbished meters off 3rd party channels. This is not recommended though as the condition of the meter may be questionable.
Both Sponsler turbine meters and Turbines, Inc. meters can handle liquids of varying viscosities.
